You will be greeted by one of the knowledgeable team, who will guide you around our state-of-the-art facility and fill you in with the secrets of breeding these life-changing dogs. During the experience, you will be split into small groups, so you can ask as many questions as you like and take things at your own pace. The experiences are bursting with information that is delivered in a range of interesting and interactive ways, including:

  • Expert speakers

  • Observing their colleagues as they work

  • Viewing puppies from the puppy viewing platform

  • Close-up video footage

  • Handling artefacts, such as harnesses and canes

  • Meeting a guide dog owner and hearing their journey (when available)

Not only that, but you will have the chance to experience blindfold activities, which give a brief insight into living with sight loss and emphasises the importance of our work at Guide Dogs. The experience will last just over two hours.
